Returns and Exchanges at Made for Tools

No hassle – just clear and simple

Not completely satisfied with your order? No problem. At Made for Tools, returning or exchanging a product is easy. We’ll guide you through the process step by step.

Registering your return

You can register your return within 21 days of receiving your order. After that, you’ll have 14 more days to send the item back to us.

To register your return, simply send an email to info@madefortools.com including your order number, the product you wish to return, and (optionally) the reason for return. We'll take care of the rest.

During this period, you're welcome to inspect the product, just as you would in a physical store.

Return conditions

To return a product, we ask that:

  • The item is unused and undamaged

  • It's returned in the original packaging

  • All accessories (such as manuals or parts) are included

Please note: Personalized items or products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons are excluded from our return policy.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are your own responsibility. These typically come to around €7.25 per parcel, depending on your chosen carrier. You’re free to return your package however is most convenient for you – via a local drop-off point or delivery service.

We understand this may be different from other webshops that offer free returns. But we believe a sustainable world starts with conscious choices. By not reimbursing return shipping costs by default, we encourage customers to think carefully about what they truly need. In doing so, we help reduce unnecessary returns, limit shipping emissions, and build a webshop that’s fairer and more sustainable for everyone.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and checked your return, we’ll refund the full purchase amount within 14 days using the original payment method.

Need something else instead?

Would you prefer a different product than the one you received? No problem. The easiest and fastest way is to place a new order in our webshop for the item you want. You can then return the original product. Once we receive it in good condition, we’ll refund your purchase amount.

That way, you don’t have to wait for your return to be processed and you’ll have your new tools in no time.
